Project Responsibilities
Conducted an inventory of existing furniture and library shelvings to be re-used, refinished and fixed for defects.
Interviewed Children Services Library Department Heads and Library Director regarding renovation requirements, goals, project expectation, budget and services projection for the next five to ten years.
Coordinated mural paintings with Library direct hired artist.
Selected and specified colors, materials, finishes, new furniture, additional library shelvings and accessories.
Presented to the Library Board Members design concept for approval.
Coordinated with furniture vendors, dealers and general contractors during the bidding process.
Reviewed and approved custom casework shop drawings, materials and finishes submittal.
Coordinated with electrical and mechanical sub-contractor.
Construction administration including review and approval of general contractor's pay request.
Conducted punch list of interior renovation based on our construction documents and installation and of new furniture based on our space plan and specifications.
