Project Responsibilities
- Conducted an inventory of existing furniture and library shelvings to be re-used, refinished and fixed for defects.
- Interviewed Children Services Library Department Heads and Library Director regarding renovation requirements, goals, project expectation, budget and services projection for the next five to ten years.
- Coordinated mural paintings with Library direct hired artist.
- Selected and specified colors, materials, finishes, new furniture, additional library shelvings and accessories.
- Presented to the Library Board Members design concept for approval.
- Coordinated with furniture vendors, dealers and general contractors during the bidding process.
- Reviewed and approved custom casework shop drawings, materials and finishes submittal.
- Coordinated with electrical and mechanical sub-contractor.
- Construction administration including review and approval of general contractor's pay request.
- Conducted punch list of interior renovation based on our construction documents and installation and of new furniture based on our space plan and specifications.
